Here are a couple of quick notes.

  • Quick reminder Carriage House coffee fundraising is due December 1st.  That way we can guarentee that it will come before Christmas Break.
  • Please try to bring in your candy bar fundraiser money this week so that we can mail the check in before your first payment to Travel Adventures.
  • We have made a class tshirt this year.  I'll be sending home order forms on Monday if you would like to purchase one.  They are $8.50 for kids sizes.  There is an example of what one looks like in the office.
  • I sent all of the kids math test scores to them on Gaggle.  If they would like to find out what they got just log in and check out their email.
  • I was just informed of a Thanksgiving Day tradition that I must participate in today.  Tell someone that you are thankful for them and why.  I attempted to be thankful for not having to cook today and was promptly told "Doesn't count"  So here it goes-

This year I am thankful for my profession.  I don't say work because that sounds like I dread it.  Yes there are times that I'm working very hard, but I 'm thankful for having a profession that I love going to and enjoy doing.

I'm thankful for the amazing parents I have this year.  I know that there are times that I make mistakes but they are willing to ask questions and help their children in anyway possible.  They truly care and value what I do and I know that devotion to education shines through at home.  It makes my job so enjoyable because of the growth I see.

I'm thankful for my students!  Everyday their enthusiasm, creativity and exuberance astound me.  I have see them revisit their love of school this year and it is a blessing to see.  I have also had the

indescribablejoy of seeing the kids progress exponetially this year.  I look at where they are and where they agoing and know that with their determination and work ethic there are precious few things that they can't do.

I'm thankful for my coworkers.  I work with some of the most talented and exceptional teachers that I have ever met.  They research, employ and evaluate their skills constantly.  They are the unsung heroes of the world.  Thank you for helping kids and putting yourself in their life!

Thanks again.
